Whau Chinese New Year Festival 2025 Celebrates a Joyous and Successful Day
The Whau Chinese New Year Festival 2025, hosted by Whau Local Board and SportHub Community Centre, was held on February 23 at Olympic Park in West Auckland, drawing over 7,000 attendees. With vibrant dragon dances, cultural performances, international food stalls, traditional tea ceremonies, calligraphy displays, and family-friendly activities, the event offered a joyful celebration of Chinese culture and multicultural harmony. Government officials and community leaders joined the festivities, adding to the warm and festive atmosphere.
