Introduction – Who we are!
Synergy Sports – New Zealand Leading Sport & Recreation Management Company. (iEvent Ltd) Aiming to create a healthy living atmosphere for the community and encourage more participants in active & healthy activities.
Synergy Sports was established in March 2015, providing facility services, and committed to helping people and communities across New Zealand to achieve sporting habits for life. Not only providing facility services but also Synergy Sports has the sole purpose of promoting multi-sport in New Zealand and encouraging more people to recreate and play sport.
Terms and Conditions
Please read and adhere to all posted guidelines inside Synergy Sports Centre and adhere to all instructions given to you by our staff.
“we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Synergy Sports, and “you” or “your” refers to the Customer (as referred to in a Service Agreement).
“Service”, “Services”, “Product”, or “Products” shall refer to all goods and services of any kind that we provide to you as specified in a Service Agreement.
“Service Terms” means any specific terms between you and us pursuant to which we agree to supply you with specific products or services.
“Party” shall refer to the members from the same group, organization, company, and family.
“Business Day” means a day on which registered banks are open for general banking business in New Zealand, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
“Commencement Date”, unless otherwise specified, means the date on which we notify you that the Service is available.
“Terms” means these Terms (the “Business Terms”) together with any terms contained in a Service Agreement and Service Terms.
- Our Charges
The cost (“Charge(s)”) for each Product or Service shall be outlined in a Service Agreement and shall begin from the Commencement Date, regardless of when they begin to be used. You are liable for all Charges regardless of who uses the Product or Service.
If Services are provided for a specific term and that term has ended, then we will continue to charge you on a month-to-month basis for that Service unless we agree to a new term. You shall remain liable for those Charges and these Terms shall continue to apply.
- Opening hours
The company will operate from 10 am – 10 pm Monday to Sunday. The public holiday may have different hours.
3.1. Peak hours
The company has the peak hours for court booking. The peak hours are 6pm to 10pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 10pm on Weekends, and Public holidays.
3.2. Non-peak hours
The company has the non-peak hours for court booking. The non-peak hours are 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Entry must be acknowledged by our staff and paid for prior to entering a class or session.
Entry into Synergy Sports Centre is at user’s discretion; we accept no liability for injuries sustained by individuals who do not follow our rules and regulations. Please read and adhere to all posted guidelines inside Synergy Sports Centre and adhere to all instructions given to you by our staff.
- Personal belonging
Synergy Sports takes no responsibility for lost or damaged personal belongings, please take care of your own belongings.
- Equipment Rental
Please respect our equipment, any purposeful or reckless damage of our equipment may result in being banned from Synergy Sports and reimbursement for the damage caused. This includes tagging.
Any physical damage to the equipment will be charged at the 50% – 80% of the original price according to the condition of the unit.
- Health and Safety
Please do not participate in Synergy Sports activities if you have health risks, severe injuries, or a heart condition. Please do not attend if you are sick and contagious. Lighters and matches are strictly forbidden in Synergy Sports, please ensure that you have not brought any in with you. Please consider the safety of yourself and others.
8.1 Health and Safety – Children Program enrolment
Access arrangements/custody details for your child must be detailed on the enrolment form. Please meet with the coordinator if required.
In the event of an accident or illness, Synergy Sports will immediately attempt to contact the parent/guardian and will take all appropriate steps to ensure the individual’s well-being, but will not be liable for any costs (e.g. doctors’ fees).
Children with disabilities or special needs will be included in the programme provided we can meet their needs. A completed special needs assessment form is required, and a trial period may be initiated.
Please note that the safety of children/staff is Synergy Sports’ paramount concern. If a child’s negative behaviour is impacting the safety of the programme Synergy Sports will enforce the exclusion policy.
While Synergy Sports, the employer and volunteer staff will take every care to provide proper supervision of all children, Synergy Sports nor the employed or volunteer staff shall have any personal liability in respect of any act of omission arising from any session or activity of this service.
This is a binding agreement between the service provider Synergy Sports and the customer
All care will be taken to provide supervision of children attending the programme in accordance with programme policies and Procedures.
Please be aware that our facility has security cameras 24/7.
- Food, Drink, and Drugs
No food or alcohol is allowed on the gym floor. The viewing area may be used for light snacks or refreshments. Any members or visitors judged to be under the influence of alcohol or other illicit substances will not be allowed onto the premises. No alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted on site. Synergy Sports is a chewing gum free zone.
Please be courteous to other members and visitors. Synergy Sports does not accept physical violence or bullying in any form. If you feel someone has crossed the line, let a Synergy Sports staff member know immediately.
- Privacy Act 1993
Information collected will be used for the purpose of establishing and maintaining records held by Synergy Sports. From time-to-time photos may be posted on our website or social media.
Children’s files will be available for perusal by caregivers with authorised personnel.
- Restraint of Trade
No other Academy/Club is allowed to offer tuition at Synergy Sports. Permission may be granted by Management on case-by-case basis.
- Restraint of Venue hire
No competition Academy / Club is allowed to hire the venue or single space for profit use. Permission may be granted by Management on case-by-case basis.
- Restraint of group badminton court booking
Same party is allowed to book maximum two badminton courts in same session during 6pm – 10pm weekday nights.
Definition of Party
“Party” shall refer to the members from the same group, organization, company, and family.
- Booking & Cancellation
At the time of online booking, we will only accept membership funds, POLI pay, and direct bank transfer.
We shall also have the right to require full payment in advance or a deposit at the time of booking in certain circumstances.
No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided & accepted.
Booking must be cancelled 24 hours prior to booking time.
In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of policy, will incur a charge equivalent to court hire. Cancellation and non-arrival charges apply after the relevant time and will be charged to the membership credit or bank transfer at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to charge for court booking if the above cancellation requirements are not met.
Very occasionally we may need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances you will be given a full refund as credit if you have paid in advance but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation.
- Product Return and Refund policy
We are committed to 100% customer satisfaction!
We will accept a return and replace your purchase of a national standard where you have received a damaged or incorrect order.
If you receive a faulty or damaged standard
We will replace your order with undamaged stock once we have received the original item back. We will not be able to offer this if the damage has been caused by you or through use of the standard. Please ensure we receive the return within 7 business days of the invoice date. If you require the replacement urgently, please email a photo of the item showing the damage to [email protected] and we will contact you to discuss replacing it. If you have received an incorrect standard or incorrect quantity, we will exchange it for the correct item or correct the order quantity. Please ensure we receive the return within 7 business days of the invoice date and the products are in a saleable condition. If you require the replacement urgently, please email a photo of the item showing the incorrect product to [email protected] and we will contact you.
Where to return your damaged or incorrect items
When you contact us to return your item, we will provide you with the postal address.
We may not offer a return and exchange on a purchase where you have ordered the wrong product in error and wish to exchange it for the correct one, or just change your mind.
You could get your refund only if the product is faulty. We will not be able to offer this if the damage has been caused by you or through use of the standard. Please ensure we receive the return within 7 business days of the invoice date and the invoice/ receipt.

- You find cheaper products elsewhere
- Delivery timelines
Products will arrive in 7-14 business days after placing the order.
- New Zealand Law
All Products and Services are provided to you under New Zealand law.
- Lastly you acknowledge that you have read and understand the terms and conditions of membership and entry and will follow them to the best of your ability.
